Woo went to the Pixar exhibition today! the stuffs there are neat! we saw many products and projects which are done very impressively by their artists and animators, some really made us go wow!

Guys you should go if you are free, don’t want to miss it! especially for those people that are gaga about pixar cartoons or game developers/graphic designers. They really share quite a number of their tactics to make the cartoons come alive.

Sorry peeps, had to cancel and postpone the trip to science center to next week due to unseen circumstances. Will update about it next week but did went out today and caught this movie called the Date Night. hmm was feeling very moody so need a break so just watch it anyways although I don’t know what is it about neither did I saw any trailers of it haha.

Well it turn out really well and it was a comedy. Very hilarious. Just what I needed. Laughter.

Wow, it really brings back childhood memories, remember watching all those cartoons from Toy Story to today’s Bolt! and Toy Story 3 is coming out! So exciting about tomorrow’s trip. Been always thinking when I was young about how they actually do this and that making characters move and even creating those cute or fascinating effects! I’ve had experiences on 3D modeling last time when I actually picked up a 3D Max software and started exploring~ woo it is good. Fun.

Anyways, more updates when I get back from the exhibitions! ;)

Caught this movie awhile ago at e-hub with my girl and can say that its a good one and lasted for 2 hours.
The mystical creatures are very fascinating! like those that you seen in games. Kind of reminded me of the game “ Age of Mythology” which I had played sometime ago where you really have to order your “peasants” or workers to worship at temples to gain help from the gods.

Haha but the bad thing about the movie is that the ending is really too fast! the giant kraken died so easily! where normally people would be expecting a good fight by the hero =/

Anyways the kraken is quite cool haha comparing to krakens from other shows which normally looks more like a giant “sotong” this kraken looks like…. hmm a giant evil mole rat with many tentacles rather then tails. xD

So this suddenly came to me, so was thinking of some debates.

You might have many trees in 1 forest but again for you to find a tree that

Not many updates this week due to sickness haha kind of unlucky as I’m already flying off this coming Monday. Felt weird on Monday super heaty think due to too much brownies haha.

Today i finally found something.

This image is taken few months ago when I was in Japan. This milk tea i had drank it everyday of my stay there and I was i might not be able to taste it again for a long time as the ones imported by most shops, even the new one in Tampines 1 are not very nice. They are of another brand.

Didn’t slept over the entire of last night =.= don’t know why either. Just keep turning and turning, can’t find the right comfortable position. Body tried , brain still working =/ I need a off button.

Anyways, no need to woke up in the morning and started preparing lunch.

Ingredients that I prepared last night before i went to “sleep”

The Marinated chicken on the baking tray, that’s the amount of chicken from 2 pieces of drumstick o.o so little! After skinning and removing of fats/nerves

Placed on the tray and added the honey mixture!

Ingredients for the pasta while the chicken is baking, believe it or not it takes longer to prepare the chicken then the main dish lol

Cooking the pasta, swimming in cream sauce~ made from LOW MILK, milk LESS SALT butter

Done with main dish~ bringing to school thats why in a box not on a plate lol

Had been hearing from friends for sometime about this thingy called “Macarons” from Bakezin (don’t know spell correctly or not) So since today I’m at orchard, why not give it a try ?

Went ION Orchard yesterday! first impression when went onto 1st floor…. eh? Taka leh looks so similar! the curves of the shops, the shops themselves and even the color theme!

They really have very interesting shops on the top floor, i think is 4th floor. Got this Marketplace thingy like a supermarket. Super nice the things inside! all tidied up accordingly! even accordingly to brands! and… they have everything! you will never find so completed sets of items in any other places. But ar…. erm…. buying fish… vegetable…raw meat… from Orchard? o.o

Sounds weird but I swear one day I’ll drive my Integra or BMW there lol park in their carpark~ take my market basket~ in my shorts slippers and singlet go market LOL “GL” but “zai” neh I know one guy confirm will go with me. Hor, Mr Tan JH? with your Mazda ar =X

What’s even more surprising is that those shops like 77th street are well designed and made so impressive! We actually saw Burger King which is very styled and classed even the menu is different and today my sis told me that the BK that is actually opened directly from the main BK from overseas! not the franchises in Singapore!

When you are in the mall you will feel that the 4 stories are small =/ nothing much leh but ar when you go downwards…woot until B4 leh! all got shops lol even got a “underground shopping mall like area” @ B4.

That is impressive. Orchard still is Orchard lol.

Today is a tuesday and now is 9+ and I’m alone at home. Weird.

Tired. Firstly, was already very tired yesterday and went to sleep around 12+ but really don’t know why suddenly i woke up at 3+ then cant seem to sleep.

Ever felt that something or someone is trying to tell you something? pushing it into your mind making you wonder. As if its an advise or perhaps even a warning to make sure that I’m prepared.

Someone that is able to make you wait impatiently surely is not someone normal.

Toss and round toss and turn then finally got abit of sleep. late again for MP zzzz 10+ then reach school.

Can say programming and problem solving really takes alot away from you. Feeling very tired lately after working with MP. woo burn burn! brain cells! die! lol

Today is Harry potter day! went school for awhile and set off to Tanjong Pagar after lunch. Went there for my OSIP(Overseas Student Internship Programme) interview to Myanmar!

Should be leaving Myanmar around early August haha should be right after national day week! so excited! xD

After that…. E!Hub! Harry Potter!Best Seats! Weeeeee….. lol went there and luckily i booked the tickets 1 week in advanced. Can see alot Sold Out o.o wahahahahaha( am chio) got best seats =X Middle seats last row haha

But i was sitting beside this young mother and his son. The mother ar really buay pai seh one, the son jump jump jump ar keep moving around ar she bo chap =.= got 1 point of time he even lean on my shoulders =.=

Well the show was really nice and lasts 2 hour plus! o.o haha I can say that the script is slowly moving towards “love” story lol alot gf bf thingy =X

After that went to this western restaurant next to Pastamania called , Buddy Hoagies Cafe & Grill. It seem interesting haha so decided to go for a try, ordered 2 dinner sets and took nice comfy seats.

They provides something very interesting, cartoon drawings where you use crayons to color on them! sp wanted to color so i grabbed one for her xD

Art updates!

Art class. Well not pretty much obvious difference from last week though, think because I work on the toning more today.

lol more and more people asking me this question “ eh your art class haben finish ar? 14 years liao leh” haha actually these should be the last few lessons but there’s a possibility that I might continue if Crestar is able to get the license for year 15++ which is equivalent to degree, if not maybe not ba. I love painting, it really reflects my feelings, not sure is it me or really does people uses feelings to paint their paintings. Colors and strokes changes with my mood every week and sometimes can even see the obvious differences. Good mood more colors, bad mood less colors or dull colors.

This is a very special painting.
Firstly, this is not my style of painting. people were like “ wah? you paint one ar? not your style leh”.
Secondly, it’s a memory pic totally from memory no reference lol confirm will look different but hope to keep the feel.
Thirdly, for a very special girl in my heart. ;)

Woot today overslept! still feeling weird and sicky in the morning =/ then reach school @ 11! so late lol even had to ask my sis to drive me there haha don’t feel like taking the bus in such condition. So the first day i did when i reach school is to go take temperature~ guai hor lol must make sure no fever o.o scary leh

What’s worst… when i walk by the camera sensor thingy, the screen shows my head and body red! meaning got heat lol possibility of having fever is high! so ask me go one side then took my temperature. Luckily no fever =X~~~~

MP in the concourse is seriously…..wrong feeling =.= seriously i don’t like working on projects when people are walking all over the place. abit distracted ba. Today MP got high tide and low tide lol suddenly found positive results then came crashing down again and start over again then now finally got positive results! xD

Went for the movie “Obsessed”. Quite nice! like the cat fight LOL showing you how violent girls can be haha.

Lately, I’ve been looking at the calendar and it felt kind of sad to know that I most probably not be celebrating my birthday right here in Singapore this year as I’ll be having my overseas internship in Myanmar =(

Would be an good experience though.

BUT sad thing is… Myanmar cannot use Messenger and some other websites are also blocked. But still can find me through gmail and skype though haha.

Second sad thing… there’s no Macdonalds or other fast food! my craves! for months! haha always remember this which my TAIN lecturer told us.

Woo dead beat. Saturday went movie with mum and sis, watched Ice Age 3. Quite funny haha but i still prefer gore stuffs LOL After that went to Connie’s birthday chalet. Happy birthday girl =) and stayed over lol did quite a number of stuffs and stayed up till 6+ lol then slept till 9+

Art class again! Seriously this piece of work ar really another new style of painting for me lol haha I quite known to my teachers for using different styles. All my painting doesn’t stick to 1 style. So sometimes people wouldn’t believe its my piece.

Lol, i love doing crazy stuffs to my pieces, last time i used to pour alot of water onto my paper when I was doing acrylic painting. Today~ I use tissue to paint! LOL see how much tissue to use~ =X

I brought milk to school today! Guess you should be thinking… milk? HL or Marigold? lol Milk is actually 1 of my hammies, from the 2nd batch of babies that Rhyno and Nino has given birth

Talking about pets, here’s something interesting. While i was on the bus back home, there was this couple sitting next to me. They were carrying large bags of animal/dog stuffs.

Didn’t mean to hear their conversions but they were talking very loudly.

Guy: “ eh you see ar it says dog food….hmm makes it sounds more delicious hor?”

Girl": “ you want try eat? also food ar can eat one leh”

Today, I decided to work on a new piece but smaller one for a change. The feel is rather different i guess due to the brush strokes, the feel is right for this kind of theme.

Went out yesterday to Iluma Bugis! also grab a new canvas for a new painting. The idea is there as well as the “feel” yea so starting a new one soon.

Went to this place for lunch. EmpireState, I heard was a sub of newyork newyork don’t know whether its true but the serving amount does look similiar haha HUGE. This is introduced by my cousin so decided to go for a try.

This is one of the dishes, when we saw it we were like OMG SO BIG! Actual size somemore! see the phone and the burger size? Its bigger then a 1 pounder! then i thought erm… so much bread ar don’t want la I’ll get sick of it lol

So we ordered this…. Oreo chocolate nutty smthg smthg. Its nice! =)

Some butternut soup lol we don’t even know what is butternut in the first place but since the management took an effort to place such a big image in menu, we decided to order it haha. yea very nice as well.

Our main dish! NICE. smthg smthg cheese pizza lol sorry about the smthg smthg smthg cause forget to take the recipe.

After that went for a movie at filmgarde. My god, the experience was horrible, firstly they give giant tickets bigger then GV and Cathay and despite the big size , it doesn’t even indicates show time. =.= Our show was at 4:45 and we waited until almost 5 then we can go in and that was a huge crowd at the entrance itself queuing to get in! push push push push!

What’s worst? we got in and another couple is sitting on our seats and having the same tickets!so we just sit beside them. What we notice is that not only us has problems with the tickets but also many others! This does not end, when everyone was sitting down and watching… suddenly they stop showing and on the lights =.= then say they will replay cause delayed…

Overall, horrible experience. Cathay and GV Rox!

Well, haven’t been posting for some personal reasons lately. I’ll be fine, no worries.

Anyways, many have been asking “heys hows your KL trip?”

Here’s the funny thing, when me and sp’s bro was killing the crabs. As everyone knew that the freshest crabs would be those that are cooked while still alive. So what I had learn on the web thought me to pluck off the “head” alive and then chop it into parts. For people that like gore movies… your reaction would be like us…

Another dish that i whipped up is actually a dish that is thought by sp’s grandmother when we are in KL, to cook sweet potato leaves with garlic and chilli padis.

OMG, never fry chili padis unprepared. The moment I throw the chilli padis down. I nearly choked ! the smell was horrible! all of us in the kitchen started to choke and cough LOL

Well overall, was good. Thinking of what to try out next.

Anyways, I was quite impressed by the speech of Miss Indonesia 2008. She came from a very special family where his grandfather, both parents,and elder brother are pastors(Let me know if i spelled wrongly) and younger brother whom also is becoming one.

So she was saying that she have friends around her where they do free s**, drink, smoke, do drugs, club. But these influences did not get her maybe because that she was well protected in this family. We are still human beings, and these are temptations that we need to stop ourselves from them because your whole group of friends are doing it why not you. God gave her the strength and courage to reject all these influences.

I really agreed to what she say, yea temptations are always there. But a person need to be strong to hold his or her morals and believes up right. Learn to reject things that you know its bad physically or emotionally, things that would affect your health, family and friends. Haha sometimes its nice to be a geek or a nerd =X healthy lifestyle~

Well, here’s some really interesting for people that are getting license soon. Lately I have been driving and today I drove again. I went AMK with my family and friends for dinner and this is something stupid that happened to a blur person like me.

After I park the car in the stupid carpark which has many many turns =.= I close everything and went off.
Suddenly when waiting for the lift to go down from the carpark.
OH Cashcard never take out.
So I run back and take it out.
After doing this, while walking half way to AMK.
EH! never tear coupon!
So I run back and start tearing the coupon.
When tearing halfway….
*knocks*
A guy told me “ today is sunday Free Parking! =)”
=.= so I wasted 1.50 and put back the tore halfway coupon back to the side pocket.
And went down to find them.
When I told my mum, my mum told me “ you put just put mah since tear already”
my sis told me” eh you sure you lock the door already”
So I run back up again and put back and lock the door even though I did lock the door just in cased.

5 days of rest, peace. Whether is sweet dreams or nightmare, I’ll only find out there haha. Lot of things to do and decisions to make after I come back. Always ranting is not a good thing, feels bad at times. =/

Well, actually gave up on baking/cooking for some reason..

but today I open the fridge and saw the ingredients that already bought last week and don’t want to waste them. So…..decided to make Oreo Cheese Cake =)

Got oreos from NTUC after dinner and headed home and execute my master plan! muahaha!

Am I really that bad? seriously. What did i do? really i don’t mind people just coming up to my face and telling me. I would even thank you for being honest. I love comments and I feedbacks, because I seriously look deeply into them no matter for school work or personal.

Strawberry Hearts Cheese Cake episode 2!

Saturday I tried Strawberry hearts again! haha since i failed to make it the other day. This time i took another approach, I put this in mind “I’m not going to let anything constrain me”

So…the following below all are hand made!

Number 1 constraint. The baking tray or mould to be begin with. This time, I want it my size and my way. So I put my origami skills to the test. I made a mould out of aluminium foil! Ensuring that it will stay together and hold it firmly.

tada! a 9x9x5cm tray! xD took me 30mins to figure how lol

Next…its butter and cream cheese! =) Xinyi and Tok told me that this brand of cheese is expensive o.o. But… only the best i guess xD

Making sure the strawberries are sweet ones is a problem as well. So try to go for countries such as USA or Japan.

They are better then those from other countries. Organic for a healthier choice =)

1st runner up in Imagine Cup 2009!

Well, today is the day where our results are released. All the hard work, all the pain, all the tears all paid out. We got the 1st runner up! in other words 2nd in Singapore.

Although felt abit sad as its just so near to 1st. But yea, at least its second. I deserve a genting trip! time to relax and let go of everything I had been tolerating for the past few weeks.

Last saturday I went Aquarama with bro lol was quite surprising that it wasn’t that crowded that I had expect it to be and we got our free tank setup! xD we were the first 200 people to enter the place.

Today is Wednesday. But seriously it felt so weird to not having any lessons. So what happen was, went out with mummy and sister for lunch, ME DRIVE hohoho~ been driving very frequently.Fun! xD

After that i actually went to my dad’s shop where my cousin was really surprised to see me! ._.

But today i found this @ 7-eleven.

Again late in posting, this post is supposed to be meant for yesterday. Oops, anyways yesterday was our 1st day in school not doing IC after such a long time. The feeling was……weird…. it was like we were feeling so lost without IC. Nothing to do and very new to our electives. So went to school and work on 1 of the assignment with Xinyi, Yanru and 苹. After that me and 苹 was planning to stalk xinyi and her boyfriend as they were going tampines 1. So we follow follow follow, from the room……to the concourse…. to the busstop…. onto the bus….. to tampines. But decided not to follow anymore =X so we went to walk around and thought of watching a movie, I missed alot of them T.T so we walk to century square and bought the tickets for X-men.

Woot! I give 2 thumbs up for this show! very nice and action packed.

Happily came out of the cinema and….. my god… the sun is still up! so early! lol so slack slack walk walk then *ting* got idea liao we go marina parade xD go ECP eat steamboat! I miss the beef over there! So… we took bus 31 all the way to marina parade and we walked to ECP.

So.. we decide to try this new restaurant which is formerly. Gelare =/ I miss the waffles.

This restaurant is about UK food and the price is relatively cheap! only 5+ 6 only.

Oops, this post is for Saturday though lol.

To make Ginseng Black Chicken Soup,

1st step: Catch a chicken and paint it black

2nd step: Chop off it’s a**

3rd step: Grab some ginseng from the mountains

4th step: Stuff the ginseng into the chicken’s a**

5th step: Throw it in a pail water and stir!

oops crapped! Anyways, what you need to do, is first look in the internet for some recipes and see which one is best for health etc. Making sure that the ingredients is for the right people. Second, take a walk in some nearby market or super market.

Best is market as you can request the cleaning of innards to the auntie or uncle. Don’t be stupid like me go buy from super market lol.

Ok, so what happen was I went to NTUC in the afternoon after waking up @ 12. It was a horrible time trying to sleep, i guess my baby is used to the rush life as well as early sleep and early wake up. I woke up at 6+, 9+ ,10+ and 12 =.= until I'm sick of sleeping.

Went to NTUC, looking for the ingredients and seriously i had a long time choosing haha reading them to see what they do, like cools the body or improve blood circulation. So decided to choose the most expensive one lol don’t know why but felt that it’s better. After that went hunting for chicken. Luckily they have the black one.

Went home and starting preparing.

Alittle delay in the update as I was very tired yesterday night. Yesterday morning we had our Imagine Cup Finals! personally I felt less nervous then in the semi-finals. Maybe cause we are more prepared I guess haha.Thrown in everything I got, this time both lecturers had a smile on their faces, just makes me feels better. This is me i guess just hard for me to see other’s feeling sad or bad for things i did, don’t want to let them down =)

Will update pictures once i get them and the results would only be out on 5th of June. So LONG! 2 weeks! nervous about it haha I want to go Cairo and bring back the IC Cup! I want to change lives! I want to save lives! We envisage a world that the technology helps solve the toughest problem facing us today! haha just loves our team name.

After that went out with 苹 to e-hub. Bus 5 to e-hub is damn long! lol and we caught this movie called Demons & Angels. Seriously.

Boring! 2 hours somemore! I thought was some show talking about literally demons and angels lol but the show talks about if you want to be the bad or good lol.

Officially class 3 driver!

Today I took my test! in the morning 8 : 30am warm up lesson, so slept quite early yesterday night. Long time since i last slept before 12. So what happen was, I was quite a horrible warm up, cause my instructor have expectations from me so keep getting nagged at.

10am I parked my vehicle at the carpark and waited in the waiting room, looking at the test routes, praying hard that I wouldn’t get the routes 7 and 8 which requires the U-turn at after eunos flyover which is the 2 killer routes. o.o my instructor told me that 9 people go try, 8 fail. So praying really hard as now it’s much more of a luck factor as both tester and test routes are randomize by the computer. Irony, these applications are what I do and now I’m praying that they have some problems or error that causes it not to give me 7 or 8.

So, I was called by the tester and i brought him to the car, starting was kind of nervous, but felt better once I sat in the car. Cleared the circuit. Phew.

So I went out for the test routes. This is my route which i drawn on Microsoft Live Maps or Virtual Earth.

I REALLY GOT THE KILLER ROUTES!! see the map? we would need to drive pass the flyover. The problem with this route is that the road before and after the flyover has 4 lanes, so I have to move shift to the 1st lane before the flyover and start shifting back to the 4th lane to make a U-turn. What’s worst is, I was only trained on this road 2 times during my classes and it turn out really bad that my instructor said that if that was a test, I confirm fail!

So, when i came out the driving center, quite happily as no mistakes were made, driving very carefully with no mistakes.

UNTIL….. at the point of the map that i indicated 3 exclaimation marks.I thought he would ask me to go straight which is easier routes! BUT….he say….turn right…. so at that point of time I was thinking “ die liao…fail liao fail liao lol” cause i can see the amount of cars at that point of time and both sides of the roads are having construction works! So I tried my best cut cut cut….and……. I PASSED!

Notice all the demerit points are all from that stretch of road that I need to cut cut cut cut! Haha whatever that is, I can drive now! I drive people around! xD

Anyways again, need to get back to work. Imagine Cup 2009. Cairo! I’m coming!

Today I received my award for year 2. It just makes me felt that time really flies, it felt like just yesterday that I have received the award with my Senior, Jeremy. Today, I look at my juniors getting their awards and I’m very proud of them. They are just like brothers and sisters to me i guess, it’s good to see them doing well for their school work. Yesterday I notice something weird about my hamster babies, the 5 little guys where 3 look like mummy and 2 like daddy. I notice something about the 3 mummy looking ones, it has weird patterns on their fur! One look like wearing belt, two look like wearing pants or diapers! I think they inherit the darker color from mummy and light from daddy.

Imagine Cup 2009 Finalist!

Today is a great today…. you know why? because we got into the Imagine Cup 2009 finals which is happening next week!!!! xD

We are one of the 4 teams that are competing. So overwhelmed!

Can’t forget the atmosphere, today morning went to school for lessons @ 9am. Then waiting patiently for the results… as the mail yesterdays says the results will be released today BY NOON. meaning anytime before 12! so i wait wait wait haha time just felt so slow…. then lesson ends at around 11 30++.. so me sitting next to ping waiting… our screens was on hotmail.com and keep refreshing..

THEN

I saw the mail! we don’t dare to open and see at first. Was Super nervous! then her mail also pop up! then we say “ if get in! happy happy! if never let’s just off and think nothing has happened before” haha so we click and….

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We screamed! WE GOT IN! Tears of joy!! T.T

This is very cute! And even written by a guy! You might agree with it, but when it actually happens 99% of girls don't realize it 'til it is too late

Yesterday was our big day, Imagine Cup 2009 Semi-finals! where the top 16 teams would be eliminated until there is only 3 teams whom will fight for the finals next Friday!

Although kind of worried as during the Q & A part, stepped on some land mines =/

Well hopefully everything would go well since the judges looks very interested and seem to like our idea =) I want to go Cairo! I worked hard for this! been stressing badly for the pass few days, waking up early and sleeping late. Honestly speaking, it has been a long time since I put so much effort into something haha oops =X that’s what will happen when you facing something that is able to change your life as well as lives of people you care for.

Loving my life now, hope it lasts.

Ok this post is suppose to be for Monday. But yea… overtime busy with Imagine Cup.

Excited, nervous, happy, sad, frustrations… all coming lol

Well, didn’t quite slept well on Sunday. Woke up a number of times. Had already a bad time trying to sleep and while i was going to sleep……Handphone rang! =.=

Nvm. go back to sleep. toss and turn, toss and turn. Little excited about the coming mock presentation.

Then. this drop down.=.= the noise shocked me and I woke up. it was 6 30….zzzzz so i went back to sleep again

Suddenly, I heard sounds made by pouring water which woke me up again. My damn ceiling has a hole! =.= but this time i tried to ignore and continue sleeping as i need the energy! but i still know when did my mum came in and mop the floor lol. She told me that the smell is horrible….

Woke up @ 10 and went for driving… Driving today was good~ no mistakes except lacking of checking of blind spots. =X and I drove faster then usual today even in the circuit. Don’t know why haha haywire? o.O I don’t mind actually since I did better haha.

This is my wallet =) Sometimes i just likes to look at it. Yea. It hurts.

Hmm never rant here before. Maybe just this time. Need somewhere to lighten up a bit.

Seriously, I’m pushing very hard this few days, reason being I want to go to Cairo! I want to represent TP I want to represent Singapore! resting earlier and earlier these days, to make sure I won’t fall sick or too fatigue. I wouldn’t want to rest, I just need 30 hours per day. More time. I love this competition.

This few days, been just tired i guess to handle or to deal with some stuffs. So yea, things that irritates me or giving me un-necessary stress, I guess ignore. First to control my patience and second to don’t care i guess, don’t want it to affect my mood. But how long can i escape?

This is where my bundle of activities began x.x

Went for my first lessons! then there was this stupid fire drill =.=
Thursday was also the day where our Japanese friend, Shota came to Singapore! so I met up with Wei Quan, Wilson and Kenneth at T2 to wait for his arrival. After his arrival we actually had Mac with him as well as driving him back to his hotel, making sure that he feels less scared and at home. That day i reached home at about 1+ and i decided to reformat my PC and ended up sleeping only at 2-3am and I actually woke up at 8+ go to school for running and gyming.

Friday

Morning exercises~ went running with Xinyi, Henry and Su Ping. Bad news, I need to train up haha think I'm getting old can’t run much already. After that I went for the Freshmen Seminar for Dip IT where I’m invited to be the emcee for the event. Haha, had fun and learn interesting stuffs like the ToastMaster CCA. Just love it when i got the Mic! =X

So my busy busy continues! After the session, i went for driving lessons! haha getting the hang of it and enjoying it. Can’t wait to get my license! and after that I met Su Ping for a movie. A Gore one! woot! we caught Friday the 13th

Here’s the trailer, if you are someone who loves thrillers and love gore movies, you will definitely love this show! rated M18 though.

So what happen after movies?! chalet time ! Gary’s birthday chalet. So went home, bath and go out again, felt bad though cause of the amount of time i see my mum. When i met the guys there, they want to go for prawning, so we went to the one next to White Sands, not the usual place that me and bro would go due to not having any transportation means.

Seriously, the experience is different! the one who go often is way better then it. Their prawns are small and harder to catch as the hooks are big.

But something interesting. I caught a fish. LOL.

Haha that was quite entertaining for a boring time prawning those tiny prawns. Actually took this picture like how people do when they caught a fish =X

After that my night still hasn’t end! we are not satisfied as not many prawns are caught so me and bro went prawning at our usual places with Ting and Guo Zhong. Have to thank Jonus, Bro’s cousin for the ride haha. We went prawning there for only 1hr+ and we caught 10+ almost 20 pieces! for tomorrow’s BBQ~

We are there till around 5+ where we go back to our chalet @ around 7+ and i slept till 11+ haha need the energy for Saturday

Saturday

Woot! so fast saturday! so wake up @ 11+ haha and went for lunch with the guys, and went home. Have to reach home by 2 to do IC with my mates! Luckily, in time lol.

I got white hair! damn! I guess I’m over stressed, but again.. am i? =(

After that went back to chalet again haha had BBQ and lots of “fun” with the birthday boy LOL
the fun insist of… hmm…water….syrup….corn powder…cake….=X

knock out @ 1+ infront of the TV lol i guess all these have piled up my tiredness. Woke up with an aching shoulder and neck… ~.~

Sunday

So what’s up for today? as usual Art class but today we discussed on some crucial, an art gallery to display all over pieces for our last year which is this coming June. We were chatting about selling and all these stuffs haha but i guess it would be hard for me to do so as i’m those kind of people who paint with my feelings. In other words, my colours and strokes actually is determined by my mood. Had alot of feelings for my paintings haha so sometimes not to mention about selling but to even give to someone close to me might be a problem. Can’t bare to =/

Well, have to sleep now haha.

Haha I guess I had pushed my body over the limit, today I had aches and strains all over my body. Why?

After the gyming and blading on Wednesday, I actually went Ice skating on Thursday morning @ Kallang Leisure Park.

Woot just love to ice skate

Actually i find that Ice skating is much easier then roller blading, maybe because of the ice that causes less friction unlike the roads for blading. Another point is Ice does not cut you so you will only feel pain when you fall~

Isn't it just darling to see young babies entering this world? Taking their first steps and opening their eyes.

haha thats for human right i guess i use it in the wrong context but i think same meaning.

Today i saw the baby hamsters started to crawl out of their mummy's den. Bad thing is poor mummy have to run around picking them up and putting them back to the safe den over and over again.

haha they are just stubborn little guys. Some of their furs have already grown and I notice that 3 of them actually take on the colour of their mummy's and 2 of their daddy's.

These little rascals are just simply adorable xD

=.= Just had another egg as I have to feed mummy hamster egg white for protein. Luckily this time i added sauce for myself haha more taste!

Haha i suddenly become "grand father" liao lol my hamster gave birth to 5 little ones just a week ago.

Quite funny just to think of it as sometime ago we were still talking about the two hamsters why are they so fat! haha maybe because they are my pets =X

Monoduzuri Competition Day

Woo.. competition day, as usual woke up and breakfast. Grab robot. Go up bus. Travel to hotel where the competition is held. haha fast forward.

Robot day!

Hmm , today there's nothing much happened actually, spent most of the time in the day working on the robot itself. Except. this in the morning.

As usual, i woke up and went to bath BUT today was exceptionally cold! so after bathing i decide to on my com and I see this!! 1 degrees!

After that work work work work work. at around 6, me Wilson and Kenneth went to town! looking for something called erm.. daiguku i think but walked around for 1 hour still cant find haha so we settle down for a bowl of Yoshinoya since its time to go back soon.

It might look the same.. BUT when you put it in your mouth..woooo~~~~~~~~~ you wouldnt believe that the ones in Singapore are branches lol

After that at night we have another Kimono show! like yesterday but i didn't take any pictures yesterday haha.

Visit to Nagasaki!

Oops it has passed 12. Ok this post is for 25th march Wednesday haha.

Well today had to wake up much more early at 6am. Had breakfast and set off at 7 30. It was a 3 hrs ride to Nagasaki! >.< but. as usual i fell asleep haha. so 3 hrs passed quickly.

First we went to the Mitsubishi factory but they do not allows us to take pictures inside it, except in the museum. Not really that excited about it as i don't really know what those things are i only know they are gigantic turbines lol

Afterwards we went to visit a peace statue which is built after world war 2

Sakura or cherry blossoms are just so nice. I'm felt so fortunate when my Japanese friend told me that they only blossom once a year and only lasts for 1 - 2 weeks. It's so romantic if you can lie below one with your loved one =X

Today we started on the robot and met my team mates. Very nice knowing them.

Bathing early in the morning in Japan

Now is 7:36 am here in Japan haha and i had just came out from the bathroom, when i woke up i was hesitating whether i should go for a bath as the temperature now is probably less then 10 degrees as it is even raining! yea, i went for a bath as i have this habit of bathing before i go out everyday. The feeling is like you dipping into a freshly chilled coke before the heater had start up lol

Yesterday's sleep was not bad although i'm not used to sleeping on a bag of beans haha so i use my jacket as an additional layer.

Well, I dreamt of a similar dream again like sometime back. Although I hope it would come true but yea. hopes are still hopes lol just let it be i guess.

I'm waiting for my breakfast~ at 8am lol

Blogging in Japan!

1. At the Changi Airport Terminal 3

Meeting point at T3! Where my family + Ting & Justin Bro, Mr Yeak & Mr Lim came to send me off =X

Free charger for almost everything at T3!!

Haha after checked in we have to go to the boarding gate which is A20. Wow T3 is just so big and so long that we have to take a tram just to get to the other end! The shops in T3 are just too crazy, the cheapest shop? Cheers LOL the rest are so exp!

Haha took this on the plane. my ticket!, SIA will always be SIA, it doesnt took us long to get onto the plane and flew off lol. On the plane is service is really good! compare to the other flights that I had taken before. They actually serve you hot towels, light snacks and even drinks anytime. Even have an in-built system where you can watch movies, shows,play game etc etc.

I watched Twilight on the plane haha not bad but yea. Vampires and i watched "The day that the earth stood still." although i had watched it before but again its still nice haha.

The flight lasted for almost 6 hours, cant really sleep but fell asleep for alittle while and..breakfast is served!

2. At KNTC

We were ferried to KNTC by a bus for almost 1.5 hours.. took alot of photos and again fell asleep haha. too tired i guess.

When we left the airport, the wind...I love this weather haha I love cold countries!

Upon reaching the school, we were given our rooms in the dormitory.

They had no lift so we have to carry our own language up 5 stories..and this is my room for the next 8 days! lol

3. Eating great food!

This is japanese style cabonara, which caused me 499 yen which is about 8 singapore bucks >.<

BUT! it's really worth it I had never ate a cabonara that is so delicious! so nice! I made me want to come back for more haha.

4. Outside on the streets

Well there's actually a break before we have our briefing so we decided to take the tram and go downtown for some shopping as well as getting me a lan cable as i had forgotten to bring one =X

Haha getting more and more excited over the trip now. Looking at the time, it's around 24 hours more to my flight to Japan!

haha the above line actually translate as:

This ten days say long not long say short not short, you must wait for me to come back oh!

So drama =X lol

Well today is the last day of our boot camp, to me it is still counted a success and i get to teach my freshmen the technologies that will benefit them in the coming semester, giving them an upper edge on certain subjects. Kind of happy as some of my friends, Debbie, actually come down for the camp despite her feeling unwell! xD

Well, thanks guys for making it a successful event.

Great News Lesser Time

Got in to the Imagine Cup 2009 Top 16 Semi-Finalist! I'm overwhelmed serious haha so excited and happy but at the same time mentally preparing for another war haha after i come back from Japan but the 10 days in Japan is the most firece i guess. Working on the japanese competition itself, working on ThinkQuest over the net as well as IC 09. Woo~ tiring but yea again I'm sure its worth it =)

Stepped down today from my SIG president seat, sort of not being able to let go it that easy haha guess i had just warmed the seat and now I have to leave. But I'm sure that it will be in good hands =)

Tomorrow's Boot Camp haha gonna be teaching again. Happy me.

Big Day

Ok 12am have past so now is 16th March 2009. Basically 2 big things will be happening in few hours time.

1. Imagine Cup 2009 Results for Round 1

I've been waiting for this for about a week's time and very anxious to know the results. I have around 80% confidence that we can get in haha.

Well thinking of it, I had once been through it which is last year. Imagine Cup 2008, with Alex, Tee Ming and Jai. I remembered the moment very clearly when Alex suddenly called me and said: "eh kelvin ar, me and Jai joining a competition leh you want mah? you want I put your name in" so i agreed. That is when i started to know more about Mr Yeak, my course coordinator whom had been giving me endless chances and opportunities this past year. It was also when i started to move towards the .NET or Microsoft side. Still remembered I used to be a Java Craze Guy whom some call me Java King LOL very cute name but yea I guess it was passion which drives me through and gave me the motivation that brought everything that I do to another level which contributed to this nick name of mine.

How it happen? I was just because of a mistake mail. I was 1 fine day where Mr Yeak passed me a Visual Studio 2008 Trial Version CD and told me, you should try this. Go learn C#! so yea i said ok can lol then 1 very fine day. I received a mail upon invitation to a 3 days workshop on Visual Studio 2008. That day, I was very happy and I thought "Hey thanks Mr Yeak for signing up for me" so i told him that i received this mail and asked for Leave of Absence and neither of us asked who actually signed up this. So i went to Microsoft Innovation Center (MIC) which i think it's my first time there. Entered the lab and waited patiently, taking the first seat on the front as I don't want to let Mr Yeak down and want to absorb as much as i could and being the first guy to reach, I didn't realize anything that is not right. I only had 1 thing in mind "I'm a Temasek Informatics & IT School student and I'm here to learn" Then.. More people started to come and they all definitely does not look like students , they are actually working professionals. Only on the second day, I was told by the receptionist that they had send to the wrong mail as they suppose to send to a guy named Kelvin Ho who is working in the Ministry of Home affairs and his name is same as mine but without an underscore at the back. But Microsoft is kind enough and let me stayed for the whole 3 days. It was a very good experience and which changed part of my life as well.

In Imagine cup 2008, we burn off our holidays, although there are ups and downs like problems such as can't contact our group mates and such. But yea I enjoyed the competition as i had learned alot.

I'm sure that this year would be different as my group's alittle different haha I still have Jai and I have a hardworking girl and a very smart girl with me this year =)

2. Stepping down from my position as the president of my diploma's Special Interest Group " Technostrategist"

It has been 1 year since I took this place as the president, believe me at that time, I'm very enthu and very passionate to take on this position as well as at the same time going for my Microsoft Student Partners interview. Reason? I want to change the face of IT. I want people to know what IT is about. I want to spread my passion for IT to people. I want my peeps in IT to enjoy IT.

Well, overall I enjoyed this post although there are always good times and bad times. Frankly speaking, I had fallen badly at times but this is where I learn to picked up myself quickly as I have to keep in mind about why I took up this position months ago. Being the president is not easy like people always said With Great Power comes Big responsibilities. I agreed to that and I had been faced with it as well.

In this past year, I had a lot of fun doing what i loved to do most. Running events, presenting, sharing information, knowing more friends such as my freshmen batch. We run events like the install fest, installing software for my peers to help them in their studies. Word & PowerPoint workshop, educating our peers on how these tools can be used more efficiently and this i would need to thank Alex and Lup Peng for making it happen. Thank you. Other events such as even organizing and making sure that special people such as our friends from Japan coming to visit TP as well as new students from the October intake to feel at home and having good memories in TP to happen.

Well overall, I learned a lot and enjoyed myself during this duration of being the president and i would like to thank my fellow SIG members, Mr Yeak as well as other support staffs and friends in TP.

Haha all this are from the bottom of my heart as I don't think i would be given air time during my stepping down lol

Well Big day coming haha. Anyways today i had a really great experience in having my driving lesson in such a heavy down fall LOL

Chronicles of Little Bean

Isn't is just nice to be a pet? pampered, fed,nice toys,snacks, sayangs and many many more. Haha well not everyone will agree to this as some pets are rather ill treated by their owners but yea I pampered on mine alot until i'm envious of them =X

Little Bean has been well loved by many since her first arrival, ME!, my sister, my mum, Xue Ting, Su Ping, Xinyi , Justin's mum, Justin's ahma etc. and the numbers are increasing haha.

Friday the 13th "Black Friday"

You know? Friday the 13th is more or less believed to be an unlucky day by many but still some feels more lucky on that day itself.

It's a very tiring day for me today as I've to wake up at 5am today again for work. Didn't slept well last night and only fell asleep at around 2-3, probably due to my head's full of thoughts. Happy thoughts , sad thoughts.

So. Today I went Park View Primary School which is in Pasir Ris. By right i should be going to another Primary school in serangoon but they need people for Park View so I decided to give it a swap since its nearer and I know how to go. Further more, Xinyi and Suping are on the trail as well! =) *accompany*

The feeling of bringing primary school students and secondary students is TOTALLY different. Although they are more lively as well as more "enthu" , they can be very naughty and noisy. But still, its fun =)

Took the same class as Suping, still remember her facial expression when she found out she's with me haha. =p
We took class 2C! so, we settle the stuffs and boarded the bus to Vivocity. It's interesting to be being a whole bunch of kids walking around the mall just like that early in the morning which these kids are really so cute as they go:

"Teacher teacher can i go to the toilet?"
"Teacher teacher can we eat?"
"Teacher teacher can we have a break? i'm tired"

Haha, really cute kids, love them. Yea kids would be kids, they did give me some troubles as they run away and I need to keep shouting "2C! 2C! 2 lines!!!!" LOL shout until i felt a sore throat coming in my way already haha.

Later in the evening, I finally had my 3rd driving lesson! I drove out onto the roads and moving onto the 3rd gear! haha so fun! having my next lesson this sunday and my instructor say: "this sunday ar when you come hor you just move abit gear then we go out again ok?" haha excited!

Ok next thing. Something that is not related to today =X

I know the details for my flight already xD
I wouldn't be in Singapore from 21st to 31st this month as I will be in Japan. I would still be online as they do have Internet over that however it would be off every night at 11pm sharp as they want us to sleep =.= What's worst? Japan is faster then us by 1 hr! in other words you guys can only chat with me till 10pm! =(

But yea, I'm sure it would be a very wonderful experience! =)

I would need to reach Singapore Airport Terminal 3 at by 10pm on 20th March and the flight will leave at 1:10am.

Flight time? 6 hours haha can sleep but i want my plane meal! Plane meals are always one of my favs, they are not really that impressive but yet delicious! Maybe is because I'm eating a piece of fish or chicken that is flying in a few KM off the ground LOL

Anyone want to send me off?xD it will be so sweet you know? I might even be touched to tears LOL but yea again, it would be nice.

Sad & moody & no more

Well today was more or less not really my day as i only get bad news but not really good news. Was feeling kind of moody and sad for various reasons, but just don't know what to do. I was actually intended to go for a scroll since I don't know what to do when i come into face with this pet shop at 201. K & K Aquarium if i'm not wrong. They sell alots of stufs, from fishes to rabbits from rabbits to guinea pigs.

Then, this particular rabbit actually caught my attention as it reminds me of my childhood pet rabbit which is killed by my sister's rabbit at the time. The fur colour is slightly golden to brown. It's just totally adorable. Well since things didn't really went so well so i decided to do something to make myself happy! with the courtesy of Xue Ting , bought the rabbit and went home.

Her name? Xiao Dou! (Little Bean) haha. and she's a girl =)

Well i have a very good friend named Xinyi whom is crazy about cuties xD so i decided to bring her out to visit Xinyi at 85 around since she live near me. Place Xiao Dou in the hamster carrier! she so small !

Seriously I felt so relieved after looking at these. I was so worried as few of my subjects I'm really not confident about them especially Software Engineering and Business Integration Technologies.

I would like to thank my wonderful group mates as well as class mates, Xinyi, Suping, Cheryl and Jai! Enjoyed working with them. Also need to thank my lecturers for giving us and giving me all their support and guidance.

Woo went briefing with bro on Tuesday, together with Xinyi and Su Ping but meeting them there haha. Briefing at Vivocity, walking around for sometime, but yea i'm sure again the children would enjoyed it more then us haha.

After that met up with Samantha and Xue Ting, then we went eating at gelare.waffles! Later on we went to eat nice and good wanton mee! brought there by bro lol

After that we went to a very interesting place called Minds Cafe! where we play board games.

SU PING after working at RGS lol Met her at Wisma Astria for dinner. Woot Hokkien Mee haha very nice! at Wisma food court. After dinner we went cine for the movie.

Raffles Girls School

Ever wondered how does it felt to entered a school that has only girls studying in it? it's weird haha.

Well today is my first day as a facilitator for Zenitant, an educational company, bringing RGS to the Singapore River for a mini amazing race!

Woke up at 5am...long time since i last woke up this early. Guess my body is not used to it, having stomach aches, headaches everything! Had only less then 5 hours of sleep.

But i guess it is worth it, I enjoyed myself and happy to see that the students had enjoyed as well.

Being a facilitator is not only something that you can get cash from but a learning experience. I enjoyed it as it gives me more chances to present as well as talking in public. Especially with the mic~~^^

My Bloody Valentines

Luckily that was just a movie name haha, I wouldn't want a bloody valentines =X unless it's something like.

Well this is a movie that i caught with ping few days ago, it pretty much enjoyable for a guy like me. Oh yea, lemme define who will enjoy this sort of movie.
